Hey girls! (and boys? Doubt it), sorry for disappearing without a trace. Hehee. I'm still here!

I think I'm experiencing what writers call a "writer's block". So a blogger's block. Which is weird cos I don't see myself as a blogger. And my camera is broken. (yea yea always the same old excuse, but it really is.) Hope to get a new one! It sucks not to be able to post cos I've got an idea to make a post dedicated to my cotton.ink shawls which I recently bought.
Hopefully soon. As soon as my camera is working aight!

Anyway just for the sake of not leaving my blog away too long, it's grown mould I'm sure, here I am! I've got a picture of me and Raditya Dika (an Indonesian comedy writer) when he was over at Sydney with his girlfriend, Sherina Munaf + her family a while back. Him and his sister, Yudita were so nice and friendly. Had a great time and made new friends along the way. Awesome!

Yea I've found a cool lil fashionable thing called Looklet. It's basically a dress-up website similar to Polyvore, only that you get to literally dress a (virtual) model up. They will provide you with some models to choose from, and a range of wardrobe, just like Polyvore!

Then the fun begins! start dressing up the model!

It's sooooo cool I'm telling ya. I do love dressing up, but I don't feel entirely confident in dressing myself. Looklet made it soooo simple with the modelsss! I just made mine a few days ago and so far I've got 3 looks only.

I stumbled upon this poem by Erma Bombeck which nearly brought tears to my eyes. It rings true to me.

It goes back to wayyy before plaids were all and raging. I've been wearing plaids since I was 5 or 6. Thanks to Mom, I love it all the way till now. And even if it goes out of fashion, I'll still love it.

Comments Problem!!

I just wanna say sorry to some of you who commented on my blog and didn't receive a reply. I don't know what's wrong but whenever I tried to comment on your blogs, the page would just spit out an annoying yellow triangle error message on the bottom left hand side of the page. It simply drives me nutsssssssssss!! The error only happens to Comment boxes with this form

Everytime I try to comment on blogs with the format above, all I get is this

It's too tiny but that circled portion is the stupid yellow triangle and it says 'Error on page' next to it.

Oh what am I to do???

Ramble of the Day: Lust

So I won't deny it. It's LUST. Not love. Love takes a whole lot more than just 3-days meetings & is gonna last much longer.

But I just wish that the pain of being in lust can go away as quickly as the lust itself. Or do I want it to go away? It's kinda nice, having hope that my feelings might be reciprocated. It's nice to imagine me & him like the couple that we saw. Who sat on the rocks in the beautiful beach. That he claimed the possibility of them being close friends who had moved on to a love relationship. It sounded even more beautiful, coming from him.

When being in a transition like this, I so so so so so wish that there's a system in this universe that will match a person to another person. Just that person. The 2 will fall in love with noone but each other. We'll all live in harmony. There'll be no need to experience the disappointment, hurt and whatnots of love.

It's lust. I can feel it. But the fact that it's HIM makes it less casual than a mere lust. His thoughtfulness, charm and coolness somehow impressed my heart deeper than the countless pretty faces that might have fluttered a few butterflies in my stomach. That went away as quickly as my heart telling it firmly,"Get over it." But I don't want to, I really don't. This is a precious person who had somehow managed to crawl his way too deep down my heart. It's like realising that God exists. It's a realisation too, that he might not feel the same way.

Again, it's just lust. Chronic lust. When oh when will it go away?

That's a boho skirt I bought ages ago in Surabaya. I just came up with the idea of wearing it as a top and it turned out not too bad.

It was about Rp 75000 (less than US$10). Great for summer and no worries about wind blowing your skirt off cos it comes with a safety layer inside! Heehee!

In my opinion, fashion is the coolest form of art, cos your body is your canvas, and when you go around "parading" your art for the world to see, people turn in awe, unlike when you prance around carrying a large canvas board with your painting!! (that's when people turn, puzzled)

Fashion. It's universal.

Oh, and what inspired me to create this very blog? 2 words: Diana Rikasari. She is the coolest thing in fashion. She is a wonderful artist. I would be happy to even have half her brain. You may check her out, but don't forget about her Protégé here! Heck, it's not the right word to describe me, but it sounds posh, I like. : )
